Credit Card Bill Payment Through CRED

CRED is free credit card bill payment mobile application. Available for download on iOS and Android platforms, it simplifies  bill payment process and rewards users for paying their card bills on time.


Cred accepts MasterCard, Visa, , American Express as well as Diners Club credit cards issued by most major banks.


How CRED Works

CRED can be accessed only if you have a credit score ( of 750 and above. CRED requests access and verifies your current credit score from credit bureaus like . If you qualify, the app will integrate existing cards to your CRED account. A detailed registration guide  mentioned below:

Install  app from your Android/iOS mobile phone and sign up with your mobile number.

After verifying your number by , the app will check your credit score and notify you if you are eligible for the service.

On successful verification, the app add all credit cards linked to your mobile number. You can add up to 10 credit cards at a time, with the option to add more  required.

You have to verify your card details adding in the masked numbers.

CRED will instantly verify your card/card by depositing Re.10 through IMPS/UPI.

After verification, you can pay your credit card bills and earn reward points equal to the bill amount paid.


How To Make Credit Card Payments on CRED



You can pay your credit card bill through  debit card and UPI. Follow the steps below to pay your bill on CRED:

 Under the ‘Cards’ tab, choose the card whose bill  wish to pay.The bill amount as minimum due etc. will be displayed on-screen. Click on ‘Pay Now’ and enter the amount the  you wish to pay.Choose the method of bill payment:If you’re paying through UPI, you will have to link your UPI address and   the same before making your payment.If you’re paying through debit card, add the card detail. After CRED has verified  card of  you can authorise the payment.If you’re paying through netbanking of  select your bank from the list.  will be redirected to your bank netbanking page to complete of the transaction.After a successful transaction, you will receive  transaction of  ID for your reference. The app will  reflect the amount paid.Depending on the bank/method of payment, it could take up  20 working days for the payment to be realised by your bank.Check Your Eligibility

Advantages of Using CRED


Besides being a one-stop platform paying your credit card bill you also earn reward point for every Rupee you pay toward your bill. The reward points are called ‘CRED coins’ and  redeemable on various offering on the CRED app. Offer are updated regularly on the app, and  of you can redeem  CRED coins (known as ‘burning CRED coins’) across categories.

You can track your payment history for all card added on the platform,  well as keep track of upcoming bill.

Features such as ‘Kill the bill’ enable you to earn cashback   toward repaying your bill.

You will get a reminder each time your card bill of  is generated, ensuring  don’t miss/delay a payment.
